Our vision

At ABCDE Hub we envision a compassionate environment where every young person has access to
tailored learning and developmental opportunities, nurtured within a community of care. We are an
alternative education provider who bridge the needs and understanding of parents, schools and social
workers to strengthen our collective support of a child.
Our team’s 20 years of teaching spans early years, primary, secondary and special educational needs and
disabilities (SEND), with additional specialisms in trauma and emotional well-being. Many of our staff have
worked internationally, whilst others in our team bring the added perspective of being parents to
children with SEND.
Guided by global awareness, cultural sensitivity and lived experience, we design child-led personal plans
which adapt to each student’s needs, offering either mentoring to build readiness for learning, or
academic tutoring to support educational progress. Our holistic approach incorporates activities like
cooking, photography and exploring nature, while ensuring careful matching between students and staff
to foster trust and engagement. Additionally, we provide curriculum-based private tuition for Key Stage 3
and GCSE's.
We aspire to become a leading alternative education provider for young people from multicultural
backgrounds, including migrants and refugees. By offering parent coaching to navigate school transitions
and Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) assessments, we aim to create a strong support network that
benefits learners and their families. In service to our broader community, we envision our premises as a
hub for guidance and inspiration.
We're building a village to raise each child within our care.

Our mission

To enhance the lives of young people on the edges of mainstream education, offering bespoke learning enriched by a community of care.

'My girls are flourishing in more ways than I can explain. I've seen an incredible difference in my eldest in the way her personality changed for the better, academically and as a person. My younger daughter has also been thriving. Rebecca is kind, professional, compassionate and always goes the extra mile for her students.'
